First to remove the window runner. This piece allows the window to run up and down smoothly. With the window etc removed this was started by the small air vent window. It was previously pulled out a little bit to access the screw that held the pillar in place. It can now be carefully pulled out bit by bit.
Note the clips that hold it in place. I found some came out with the runner and others, like this, stayed put.
A small amount of fiddling with a screw driver and these come free.
This picture shows how the clip can be pushed back and will then be free.
A shot from inside the door. The window can be pulled up and out.
At the top of the window frame, where the window guide has just been removed, a screw holds the trim in place.
Another shot from inside the door looking up. The window passes through this slit. You can see one of the clips that must be squeezed together before it can be removed.
I found the first one was accessible from the inside but the others were not. Gentle around the clip with a screw driver released the rest without too much difficulty.
The outer trim removed.
A closeup of the trim/seal that prevent water going into the door by the window.
