Electrics - window washer switch

The rear of the washer/wiper switch has contact numbers.


The black wire with purple spots connected to terminal 38 on the right of the switch.


The brown and white striped wire connected to terminal 31b.


A double connector allowed both the black and green wires to connect to 53b.

Electrics - wiring loom

A new wiring loom is around £250 so I thought I should first spend some time checking out the old one to see if it needs replacing.


I started to clean up all the wires and contacts.

Electrics - fuse box connections

Disconnecting the wiring for cleaning and possible repair.


The black wire was connected to the hazard light switch.



Not sure what this wire was connected to. It looks like the end connected to an inline fuse. Possibly the radio?


Another red wire removed.


Blue and white striped wire connecting to the speedo, full beam light.


Dirty white wire removed.


Several wires connect directly with part of the wiring loom.
