Door pillars - removing the doors

I had to remove the door in order to access the pillars and surrounding area.





A combination of grinder and wire wheels where used to remove surface contaminants for more filler.

Sanding down after filler 2

Got some 120 grit 125mm sanding discs.






Sanding down the edges become smooth leaving the middle depressions showing that more filler is required in these areas.

Grinding down welds and attacking rust with a wire wheel.

The more I do this the larger the area I fill. It seems if I just add one more layer of filler and sand it down the area where it meets the body will be more difficult to see. Where does it end I wonder!
